The second game of the series between Bowling Green and Savannah featured a pitching match up between Hot Rod pitcher Chris Andujar with a record of 9-3 and Gnat pitcher Chris Schwinden with a record of 8-5. Schwinden pitched a no hitter until giving up a hit in the seventh inning.
Sean Ratliff went 2for3 and extended his hitting streak to 17 games. He hit his 14 home run, a shot over the right field wall and also hit a double. The center fielder Ratliff, made two great catches-one was a long, running, slidding catch of a pop fly hit into short center field.
Jean Luc Blaquiere hit a single and a double. Jordan Abruzzo hit a single and a double. Joey August hit a double to keep his six game hitting streak alive.
The 2,664 fans saw an exciting finish. With two out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the nineth, Josh Satin hit a ground ball to third to end the game.
