Buffalo 6, Lehigh Valley 5

From Press Release:

If Jesus Feliciano's bat was any hotter, you could use the timber as firewood.

The Bisons outfielder had three more hits and scored a pair of runs as the Herd defeated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 6-5, on Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Park. Josh Thole added three hits as Buffalo collected their fifth consecutive victory.
Feliciano collected two singles and a triple for his third consecutive multi-hit game. He needed just four pitches in the first inning to extend his hit streak to a Bisons' season-high 12 games with a base knock off IronPigs' starter Nate Bump. Feliciano also drove home a run with a bloop single in the fourth and used his three-bagger in the sixth inning to score the eventual game-winning run.

Feliciano's average now stands at .383, an amazing 34 points higher than any other batter in the International League. After going 3-5 on Sunday, he has averaged .458 since his hit streak began on May 12.

Like Feliciano all season, the Bisons attack was a constant force on Sunday. The Herd scored in four consecutive innings, starting with a pair of runs in the third. Andy Green and Mike Hessman drove home runs with hits to give Buffalo a 2-1 edge.

Hessman now has 48RBI on the season, nine more than any IL slugger.
