MMLR Player of the Day: Savannah RHSP John Gant.
For the second day in a row, a Savannah starter tosses a gem and earns MMLR honors.
Las Vegas (64- 53) subdues Sacramento (66-50) 7-2.
Cory Mazzoni (W, 2-1) pitched very well, with one mistake: 6.0 IP, R, 5 H, (HR) 0 BB, 5 K.
Ryan Reid: 1.0 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 0 K.
Chase Bradford: ditto, except he struck out the side.
John Church: 1.0 IP, R, 3 H, 0 BB.
Matt Reynolds: 4-5, HR, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R.
Andrew Brown: 2-5, HR, RBI, R.
Anthony Seratelli: 2-4, 2B, RBI, R.

Starter Steven Matz had a fine outing: 6.0 IP, R, 0 ER, 6 H, BB, 7 K.
But the bull pen imploded;

Hansel Robles: 1.0 IP, perfect, strikes out the side. Robles seems to be taking to this RP role.

Cory Mazzoni looking like more major league ready pitching wealth in the farm system. Matz. Almost there too. Someone put something in Matt Reynolds' water - he is back on fire, but this time with power. Can someone say "ready"?
