ABOUT LAST GAME: The Fireflies walked off against the Asheville Tourists in the bottom of the tenth on Sunday afternoon. J.C. Rodriguez’s triple drove home Vinny Siena and Columbia won, 5-4. The home team erased two deficits in the eighth and ninth innings to force extras and win it.
FRANCHISE FIRST: It was the first walk-off win in franchise history. Sunday was also the first extra inning game the Fireflies have played in.
