The 51s defeated the Grizzlies, 3-2, in game three of the four-game series (and eight-game homestand) before a Budweiser Dollar Beer Night crowd of 5,038 at Cashman Field.
Las Vegas right-hander Logan Taylor recorded the victory with a solid outing. He pitched 5 + innings and allowed 5 hits, 2 runs, walked 2 and struck out 4 on 72 pitches (45 strikes)
The 51s rallied for three runs in the third inning, highlighted by a two-run single of the left field fence by right fielder Matt den Dekker (2-for-3, walk).
Second baseman Phillip Evans (1-for-3) hit a solo homer to lead-off the fifth inning.
Fresno third baseman Tyler White was 2-for-3, two doubles, HBP, RBI.
The finale of the four-game series (Fresno leads 2-1) is Friday at 7:05 p.m.
