Mets’ Release Bisons RHP Kiko Calero
The New York Mets today announced that they have released Buffalo Bisons’ RHP KIKO CALERO.
Calero, 34, was 2-0 with a 10.59ERA in 10 relief outings with the team (17.0IP, 24H, 20R, 20ER, 9BB, 16K). He earned the club’s first victory over the season with 1.2 innings of scoreless relief on April 9 in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He also collected a win on April 27 against the Durham Bulls.
Calero allowed 15 runs in his last three appearances (3.2IP).
