Norfolk 5, Buffalo 4

From Press Release:

The Bisons four-game winning streak came to an end on Sunday afternoon, following a 5-4 loss to the Norfolk Tides at Coca-Cola Field.
The Tides took an early 2-0 advantage in the top of the first inning and although the Bisons threatened to take the lead several times, Norfolk never relinquished it.

The Herd got an RBI double from Andy Green, scoring Russ Adams, in the second inning to make it a one-run game.

In just his third game removed from being sent down to the minors by the Baltimore Orioles, Nolan Reimold extended the Tides lead to three with a two-run homer in the sixth.

A two-RBI double by Russ Adams in the bottom of the sixth again made it a one-run ballgame, but the Herd never got any closer. Adams finished the day 2-3 with a run scored and two RBI.

Valentino Pascucci got his second homer in three games with the Bisons since being signed by the New York Mets before Friday's series opener. Bobby Livingston suffered his fifth loss of the season, dropping his record to 1-5. He gave up four runs on five hits through six innings.

BISONS NOTES: Mike Hessman went 0-3, ending his hitting streak at 10 games...Josh Thole went 0-4 in his first game back with the Bisons, after being optioned to Buffalo by the Mets last night...RHP Kiko Calero was released by the Mets before the game...The Bisons 21-16 record through the first 37 games of the season is an 11-win improvement from last season (10-27).
