AAA –
Buffalo:
Ben Wagner
Win leaders: Matt Harvey (5-3,
3.87), Jeurys Familia (5-3, 4.35) and Justin Hampson (4-1, 2.02).
With XBH/RBI ability, Matt den Dekker
bats third. Has doubled & homered in first three Triple-A games as
leadoff.
Another questionable
start for Jeurys Familia… tonight just didn’t
work for him and, frankly, I seem to writing about things like this too often.
Tonight, it was only four innings, 86-pitchers, only 46 strikes. One, I repeat,
one strikeout, and six, I repeat, six walks.
Now, we can add to this a bad outing by both Josh
Edgin (1.1-IP, 2-ER, 4.44) and Pedro Beato (0-2-IP,
3-R). Add to that four areas and, boy, didn’t that come to Jesus talk by Wally
the night before really work?
AA-Binghamton:
And you thought Buffalo
sucked?
This was not SP Darin Gorski’s best outing. Like Familia, he’s having
problems. Tonight’s line: 5.0-IP, 10-H, 6-ER, 5-K, 2-BB, 4.50. Darin had no
problem with the walks, he just kept throwing balls that eventually bounced
around the field. His K/BB is from hunger and it’s seems ages when he dominated
A+ last year. Boy, the AA level is such a pitcher-killer.

This line-up seems to
never change… big pitching duel… this also wasn’t SP Jacob
deGrom’s night: 5.0-IP, 8-H, 3-ER, 3-K, 1-BB, 2.88… three home runs
tonight by Aderlin Rodriguez (11th), T.J. Rivera (8th), and Dustin Lawley (8th).
Gotta say I did a pretty
shitty job on this report tonight. I was really into the CWS and hot hooked on
a ‘VEEP’ marathon on HBO.
