Considering how sparingly a lot of players are actually playing throughout these winter league games (poor Puello) it has to be a good sign that the tj rivera team seems to trot him out there every single game and play him the whole game. What to do with this damn guy???
The Mexican League and the Puerto Rican Leagues both have roster restrictions that force teams to generally trot out the same line-up day in and day out.
The VWL and DWL both have much larger unrestricted rosters thus it allows them to rotate players in and out.
In Puello's case, the Toros del Este have 10 active OF'ers on the roster.
Even Dilson Herrera has all of a sudden been blocked on the Tigres del Licey roster, thanks to Arismendy Alcantara being added to a roster that has a total of 11 Middle Infielders.
As long as Dilson and Puello are on the 80 man roster down there, Chris, life is good.
Those must be mighty crowded clubhouses.
