Roseboom Added to Eastern Division All-Star Roster

BINGHAMTON, NY – Binghamton Rumble Ponies reliever David Roseboom has been added to the Eastern Division roster for the Eastern League All-Star Game. Roseboom becomes the sixth Rumble Pony to be named an Eastern League Mid-Season All-Star this season.

Roseboom will join Tim Tebow, Levi Michael, Daniel Zamora and Patrick Mazeika in Trenton for the game. The festivities start on July 10 at ARM & HAMMER Park with the Eastern League Home Run Derby. On July 11, the Eastern Division will battle the Western Division in the All-Star Game with first pitch set for 7:00 PM.

Roseboom, a left-handed reliever, has compiled a 2.06 ERA over 25 games with the Ponies this season. In 35.0 innings he has posted a 10.3 K/9 IP rate and held opposing hitters to a .198 batting average. The upstate New York native will play in his first Eastern League All-Star Game, combing back from a near-career-ending foot injury last year. Roseboom was a South Atlantic League All-Star with the Savannah Sand Gnats (Low-A) in 2015.
