Five Picks Before #35 and Who is Left

13: White Sox- Courtney Hawkins
14: Reds- Nick Travieso
15: Indians- Tyler Naquin
16: Nationals- Lucas Giolito
17: Blue Jays- D.J. Davis
18: Dodgers- Corey Seager
19: Cardinals- Michael Wacha
20: Giants- Chris Stratton
21: Braves- Lucas Sims
22: Blue Jays- Marcus Stroman
23: Cardinals- James Ramsey
24: Red Sox- Deven Marrero
25: Rays- Richie Shaffer
26: D-Backs- Stryker Trahan
27: Brewers- Clint Coulter
28: Brewers- Victor Roache
29: Rangers- Lewis Brinson
30: Yankees-
31: Red Sox-
32: Twins-
33: Padres-
34: Athletics-
35: Mets-

Needless to say, the Mets prospects at #35 took a huge hit when HS C Clint Coulter was taken by the Brewers and my ideal #35 guy HS OF Lewis Brinson was selected by the Rangers. I had some hope that Victor Roache might slip too but concerns over his injury make him a risk. There are still great names on the board:

Lance McCullers (9)
Joey Gallo (16)
Matt Smoral (20)
Stephen Piscotty (23)
Ty Hensley (25)
Chris Beck (28)
Zach Eflin (29)
Brian Johnson (30)
Walker Weickel (32)

Along with the following players who are all projected around the late first through early second: Carson Kelly, Travis Jankowski, Nolan Fontana, Pierce Johnson, Tanner Rahier, Rio Ruiz, Adam Brett Walker, Hunter Virant, Kenny Diekroger, Trey Williams.

Smoral, Hensley, Eflin, Virant and Weickel are all great high school pitching options. Beck and Johnson are nice (safer, under-slot type) picks who the Mets could look at, and an outfielder I would really like in Jankowski along with one awesome catcher in Wyatt Mathisen, and some middle IF, UT type of guys both in the college and high school ranks. Like I predicted, there are a number of “A” picks still here and will be by #35.

Post in the comments the player you want the Mets to take at #35.

But what it would take to convince him to sign, financially, would mean surrendering draft picks in the 2013 draft and there is a VERY likely chance he just won't sign...which doesn't help us at all.

I think best HS talent still on board: Smoral or Gallo.
