Inclement Weather Postpones B-Mets Series Opener

BINGHAMTON,NY – Tuesday night’s game between the Binghamton Mets and Reading Phillies waspostponed due to inclement weather. It will be made up as part of adoubleheader starting Wednesday evening at 5:35 PM. The teams will play two seven-inningcontests with gates opening at 5:00 PM.

Thepostponement marks the fifth of the season and third in the last two weeks. Ticketholdersfor tonight’s game can redeem their ticket for one of equal or lesser value toany future 2012 regular season home game, excluding July 3.

TheB-Mets (29-30) will look to start their rain-shortened series tomorrow night at5:35 PM. LHP Mark Cohoon takes the mound for Binghamton against RHP JonathanPettibone in the opener while RHP Collin McHugh battles RHP Austin Hyatt in thenightcap. The Horizons Federal Credit Union pre-game show for the day’s actionbegins at 5:20 PM on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
