Salt Lake (74-54) outlasts Las Vegas (69-57) 10-8.

 

Giancarlo Alvarado (L, 4-4) lasts only 2.0 innings: 4 R, 4 H, 3 BB, K.

Jack Leathersich takes an uncharacteristic shellacking: 1.2 IP, 4 R, 2 H, 2 BB, K.

D.J. Mitchell then allowed the 2 runs that prevented the 51’s from catching up: 2.1 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 3 BB, 2 K.

 

Lucas Duda: 3-4, 2B, BB, 2 R.  Lucas has his avg. up to .300.

Zach Lutz: 3-4, 2B, BB, 3 RBI, R.

Matt den Dekker: 1-5, 3B, 3 RBI, R.

Binghamton (79-47) edges New Britain (58-68) 5-4.

Mark Cohoon: (W, 9-3) 6.0 IP, 4 R, 7 H, (HR) 2 BB, 5 K.

Chasen Bradford (S, 1) pitched a perfect 9^th inning with 2 K. Bradford has blossomed since his promotion to AA. In 15 games, 18.2 innings, he has given up only 1 earned run. His ERA is 0.48, WHIP 0.91.

 

Cory Vaughn: 1-4, 2 RBI.

 

Jupiter (63-61) trips St Lucie (65-52) 4-2.

 

Alex Panteliodis, (L, 6-5) after a rocky start, came on strong, but got too little run support: 7.2 IP, 4 R, 9 H, 3 BB, 2 K.

Savannah (68-50) @ Augusta (70-51) double header postponed (rain).

Vermont (28-30) nips Brooklyn (28-28) 1-0.

Gavin Cecchini: 4-4, outhit the rest of the Cyclones team. Cecchini is now hitting .311.

Bristol (15-39) blasts Kingsport (31-24) 10-6.

For 7 innings the Tigers were held without a hit, but then the roof fell in.

Jean Alvarez (L, 1-3) came in to pitch the 8^th with a 1-0 lead: 0.2 IP, 3 R, 1 H, 2 BB.

Enmanuel Berihuete then had identical stats (3 R, H, 2 BB) without getting an out.
