Are the Mets targeting Escobar as a starter or as a reliever? Another site was reporting that in order to save wear and tear on his shoulder that he wanted to sign as a reliever which would beg the next question. If Escobar's a reliver next year does he slot into the eighth inning role or as long reliever?

definitely a reliever... at AAA

it will be a minor league contract...

expectations will be to bring him back up in 2011, if he pitches well in 2010 at Buffalo
