Week Long Home Stand for St. Lucie Mets Starts Today


The St. Lucie Mets start an action-packed seven game home stand on Monday. The stretch of games at First Data Field ranges Monday-Friday and SundayOn Saturday, the Mets will serve as the home team at Holman Stadium at Historic Dodgertown in Vero Beach as part of the Jackie Robinson Celebration Game.

The Mets host the defending Florida State League champion Bradenton Marauders (Pirates) MondayTuesday and Wednesday. The final four games are against FSL newcomer the Florida Fire Frogs (Braves).

All weekday games start at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Vero Beach is a 6:35 start and Sunday’s finale is 1 p.m.

Below is a complete list of happenings at First Data Field throughout the week.

Monday – 6:30 p.m.
-All kids 12-and-under receive free admission.

Tuesday – 6:30 p.m.
-Fans can get two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for just $15.
-Silver Sluggers Night: all Silver Sluggers members get in free and receive a free hot dog
-Baseball Bingo: free for all fans to play

Wednesday – 6:30 p.m.
-All You Can Eat and a Seat: For $18 fans get a ticket to the game and access to the smorgasbord of hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, popcorn, $2 soda, $2 water and $2 beer.

Thursday – 6:30 p.m.
-Dollar Night: $1 Bud and Bud Light (8 oz. cans), $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 popcorn.
-Solo Cup Special: Buy a Mets solo cup for $12 and receive $1 draft beer refills every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.

Friday – 6:30 p.m.
-Family Fun Night: All Klutch’s Kids Crew members receive free admission. It is free to sign up for the Kids Club this year. Contact Kasey Blair at kblair@stluciemets.com to register today.
-Fun Run Around the Bases for kids 12-and-under after the game.

Saturday – 6:35 p.m. at Dodgertown in Vero Beach
-Fourth Annual Jackie Robinson Celebration Game honoring the 70th anniversary of Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier. There will be postgame fireworks at Holman Stadium.
-Tickets can be purchased at Historic Dodgertown. The cost is $6 through Thursday then the price goes to $8. All net ticket proceeds benefit the United Way of Indian River County.

Sunday – 1:00 p.m.
-Sunday Brunch: Fans can get a ticket to the game and enjoy brunch in the covered terrace level for $20 day of ($17 in advance). Brunch items include eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, fruit, yogurt and more.
