-this could be a big-time steal this year... Everts was a killer out of high school who was converted to a reliever after a ho-hum SP role in the Nats minor league system. Big time strikeout machine., but the big thing is he is peaking just when the Mets get their hands on him. In 2009, he pitched at three levels and combined for stats of: 8-1, 1.65 in 44 relief appearances, 60.0-IP, 68-Ks, 26-BB... has had trouble with the walks, but what a great AAA pick, he's still young, and he may even make the Queens pen this year.
