NY Post: Mets watch win streak slip away as Pirates takenail-biter. “So, the Mets proved they are mortal at home as their seven-game Citi Field winning streak, and an overall run of four straight victories, came to an end in 3-2, 10-inning loss to the Pirates, who claimed first blood in a potentially revealing series.”

ESPN.com: “Yoenis Cespedes hit his 20th home run overall, and second since being traded to the Mets from Detroit, with a tying drive in the sixth. It was the Mets' 15th long ball in their last 19 games, and tied a Citi Field record with 67 homers in a season.”

Despite the loss, the Mets stayed 4,5 games in 1st as the Giants beat the Nationals 8-5.
