NY Post: Mets suffer another extra-inning loss to Pirates. “Niese surrendered two home runs, a two-run shot by Amaris Ramirez in the first after the lefty did not get a full-count call on an apparent strike three. Then, Gregory Polanco hit a solo shot in the third. The Mets managed just two Cespedes singles until Juan Uribe socked a solo homer in the seventh and Michael Conforto followed an error by Ramirez with a blistering two run shot to tie it, 3-3.”
ESPN.com: Stewart's single in 14th sends Pirates over Mets. “Francisco Cervelli hit a leadoff double in the 14th and Starling Marte followed with a chopper. First baseman Daniel Murphy grabbed the grounder, but made a late throw to third trying to get Cervelli. Stewart and Sean Rodriguez followed with RBI singles.”

What a throw from Cespedes! How did that guy fall off so quickly, and would you sign ANY player to a fifteen year deal knowing that life happens?
No. 15 years is nuts. Hoping the Mets get 5 good ones and opts out to try and get more.
Once Cespedes signed the guaranteed contract after 2016, he got boar-d and was not the same.
