Another guy without seeming power - how are those sorts of guys doing over the past several years getting to the big leagues...not very good. Why not a power guy? Count me puzzled - and disappointed.

No clue about Matt or who the alternatives were, but...

All-defensive PAC-12 OF, leading team in triples & walks (2016) and pitcher or the week in (2017)? DeGrom-ish?

not for nothing but all the stanford guys show up without power as according to what i've read they are taught not to try and hit home runs, spray and even plane.
