FLASH - Mets Are Selling

Sources: Mets open for business now, willing to listen to offers for Granderson, Addison Reed, Bruce, Cabrera, etc. Far behind in races.

Time to sell them all off and race to the bottom of the pack for a better draft pick next year.

Hopefully Sandy doesn't half ass this. They'll have money to spend next winter and need a protected draft pick. Gotta be bottom ten.

Was there really a question? Just out Cabrera wants a trade because he doesn't want to play 2nd and the Stros are interested in DeGrom according to Verducci.

The storm has hit...how Will we weather it?

Yeah degrom isnt going anywhere. But good sell the parts that dont matter for next year. all of them. on the mlb squad, degrom, thor, conforto, cespedes, matz are all that arent available. A few others wont be bc of injury/depressed value, but those are the parts that are staying. everything else can go.

Send the sniveling little whiner Cabrera out while you are at it.........way to put the team first.

While I agree Cabrera is out of line with his demands, similarly the Great Communicator didn't bother to pick up the phone and inform his employee of this change. He got it through the media. Sure, if you can find a taker for Cabrera and his contract, go for it. Just try to find a taker for the Skipper, too.

The skipper should be the first head to roll, followed by the butcher Dan warthen

1st head to roll should be Alderson, so that new GM can pick his own Collins replacement

I still like a trade of Asdrubel Cabrera for Odubel Herrera - pronunciation almost the same, so it will seem like Cabrera is still here :)

I wonder if the Yankees and Mets really could speak in civil terms to one another about Lucas Duda?

I also wonder what Lucas could do in the Bronx against righties....hmm.

It could be interesting. Grandy hit 40 + home runs there.

I have been really hard on Terry Collins but have backed off recently. I think Collins has done what he has had to do to survive and has reached the boiling point when he announced that he was no longer "allowed" to talk about injuries.

No one likes to be muzzled, but at age 68??

Oy vey.
