Savannah/Asheville game suspended

The second game of the South Atlantic League Southern Division Championship series between the Savannah Sand Gnats and the Asheville Tourists was played Friday evening at Grayson Stadium.
Heavy rains suspended the game with Asheville leading Savannah 2-1 with Savannah batting in the bottom of the 8th inning with 1 out and a runner on second base.
The game will resume tomorrow, Saturday at 4:00pm at Grayson Stadium.
If Asheville wins the game, they will be the Champions of the Southern Division. If Savannah wins game two and forces a third game, it will start at 6:05pm Saturday.
