Mack –
I hope none of you doubt this dude anymore,
Senga is, indeed, the ACE of this staff and
proves every outing that he is a viable candidate for the Cy Young award this season.
The sad part about this outing was the run that
was charged to him after another walked a batter in. If that hadn’t happened,
Senga would have been tickling the 0.99 range for his ERA.
Every one of his pitches had a 0.0% rate,
except for the forkball (14.3%), but the fork produced a 37.9% whiff% and a proStuff
+ of a whopping 117.
The slider produced a 100% whiff%.
This has been a magical season so far for Mets
starters. Yes, I still am highly critical of the way Carlos Mendosa pulls these
guys early, but you can’t argue with the results… the lowest ERA in the league.

Yup, you know you're pitching lights out when you give up one run and your ERA goes UP. He's been phenomenal
4th lowest MLB ERA in the beginning king of a career
Now qualified as the lowest ERA in NL
